Highway all contributed to the establishment and success of the largest concentrations
of commercial greenhouses in Western Canada.
Fresh Tomatos, Cucumbers and Peppers are sold t year round at most greenhouses.
RED HAT COOPERATIVE
Approximately 18,000,000 cucumbers as well as tomatoes and peppers are packaged locally at the Red Hat Cooperative for shipping throughout Canada and as far south as Los Angeles.
